Gather items from text.
I find this useful for gathering information from long articles. I paste the article into the Original Text field, highlight segments in the order I want. As I do that the segments appear in the Edited Text field, where I edit them. Then I highlight my summary and copy it out.
If you enter the following in the Original Text field ...
The rain in Spain falls mainly on the plain. Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers.
And then if you highlight...
The rain, and then highlight falls mainly on, and finally highlight Peter Piper, each of those character strings will appear in the Edited Text field as you highlight them, and the final phrase in the Edited Text field will be: The rain falls mainly on Peter Piper.

“Are you dejected? here is comfort. Are you sinful? here is righteousness. Are you led away with present enjoyments? here you have honours, and pleasures, and all in Christ Jesus. You have a right to common pleasures that others have, and besides them you have interest in others that are everlasting, that shall never fail; so that there is nothing that is dejecting and abasing in man, but there is comfort for it in Christ Jesus.”
–Richard Sibbes, Description of Christ
